Item Description
Buttons are all 1.25" except for the large 4" litho inscribed "Hoppy's Favorite Bond Bread." This is a rare button worn by store clerks and we've seen only a few examples in our 50 years. Red color has faded just the very slightest bit and there are some extremely minor and widely scattered tiny dots of paint wear. Still glossy and overall VF. Top left of photo is Hoppy endorsing "Langendorf Bread." This has a hairline air streak across his forehead as made. The other buttons are all of the same design. There are ten different plus three duplicates. There are two for "Jaeger's Butter-Nut Bread." One of these has barely seen pinpoint age dots on the rim while the other has more noticeable stain and the text is slightly off center to the right. Next is "Buttercup Bread." First of ottom two rows consists of: Mary Jane Bread, Sunbeam Bread, Betsy Ross Bread, Stroehmann's Sunbeam Bread, Pan-O-Gold Bread. All five of these have scattered small stain traces. Bottom row begins with "Drink Producers Milk". This is followed by "Roberts Milk." Each of these has just the slightest bit of pinpoint staining on the extreme rim edge. Next with fade and stain marks including a large one on Hoppy's face is for "Roberts Products." Last and first we've seen reads "7-eleven presents on WBAP-TV, Saturday's At 6." One of these is NM displaying Mint and the other has noticeably darkened. Many rare imprints.
