Item Description
First is 2-1/8" from Boston naming both the famous department store as well as a theater. Text is "Official Member Of Filene's And Loew's State/Hopalong Cassidy Club". Covered metal back naming maker W&H with horizontal pin. Front has a light 1-1/8" circular line in the celluloid at the center of the button. Viewed straight on this barely shows but on certain light angles it becomes visible. Button is otherwise NM and displays beautifully with striking deep red and black color combination. Second is 15/16" "Member Mil-ko Club." Curl names maker "Boothe Kent-Toronto" and in the reverse of the button is a square paper with blue printed text "Hear 'Hoppy' CFRB Sat. 7pm." These are the call letters of a Toronto radio station. Only the second example we've seen of this button and the first to include this reverse paper. Cello is NM displaying Mint.
