Item Description
Sizes are 1-1/8" to 2". Top row buttons are all litho with identical design except for the name of the newspaper. This is the most extensive group we have ever seen and the papers named are: Chicago Herald-American, Daily Record, Los Angeles Herald-Express, San Antonio Light, Sun-Tele. Light wear as these are litho but all are VF to Exc. Row 2 are all cello and name four different papers: Boston Traveler, Erie Times, Daily News, Seattle P.I." First two are NM displaying Mint. Third has slight grey age on outer rim edge and a .25" hairline cello crack across the bridge of his nose but the line just catches a little reflected light. The button from Seattle has heavy wear, stain and missing cello at right edge. Overall only in Fair condition. Bottom row begins with rare button from "Toronto Star." Light stain on outer edges going inward about 3/16". Next is scarce imprint "In The Mirror." Next two name "The Detroit News" with the blue version somewhat scarcer than the red version. Both of these are litho as is the final button naming "Chicago Tribune." These last four are NM displaying Mint. An extensive collection with numerous rarities.
