Item Description
First from 1934 is Annie's very first ring, which also was intended to form a slide for a bandana. Top has her portrait surrounded by her name. Exc. luster. Second is the 1936 silver star member ring. A little surface wear around the top sides visible on close inspection but still VF. Third is the 1937 two initial signet ring. This has the initials "CJ". Small luster loss from the end of one prong but vast majority remains bright and glossy. Fourth is the 1939 bracelet with reverse text "Orphan Annie Identification Bureau/Chicago" along with the owner's serial number. Front has American flag in a bow design accented by the owner's initial "P". Last is the 1-7/8" tall die-cut brass 'Heart's Desire' dress clip. Reverse has a large hinged tab with prongs so it will stay affixed to fabric. From the 1930s, Ovaltine and offered as an Orphan Annie unmarked premium. Her name appeared on the order form for "Costume Jewelry Gifts." This piece was also used as a premium, issued on a pink card, by the radio show Girl Alone/Patricia Roberts. Exc. luster.
