Item Description
4" wide by 5-5/8" tall painted cast iron bank depicts legendary pirate Captain William Kidd standing beside tree trunk w/shovel in hand. "Captain Kidd" name is incised on front of base. Maker is unknown (per "The Penny Bank Book"). 1901. Scattered paint wear w/some oxidation by Kidd's feet and at base of tree trunk. Fine overall.
