Item Description
Lot of 11 illustrated envelopes, each containing rigid black cardboard panels w/assembly parts for 1:72 Scale silhouette models of various Allied and Axis warplanes. American planes include - Scout Observation Seagull, Scout Bombers Vindicator, Buccaneer and Helldiver, Torpedo Bomber Avenger, Liaison Taylorcraft, Fighter Buffalo. There are three Axis fighter planes; German FW 190, ME 110 and Japanese Mitsubishi T-00. Another Japanese plane is the Dive Bomber Aichi T-99.  Kits were issued by Army Air Forces Aircraft Identification Section in 1943.  Envelopes are evenly aged w/varying degrees of scattered handling wear, w/some creases and small tears, one envelope having some scattered moisture staining on back. Envelopes are Fine to VF. Contents are unused and NM.
