Item Description
Pair of superbly designed, hand-cut and painted stiff paper masks, created very much in the style of Disney Studios design. Back of each has "Original Sketch Designed And Submitted By Einson-Freeman Co., Inc. Long Island City, N.Y. - Copyright 1951" inkstamp. Einson-Freeman are known for their character masks issued over the years, including Disney characters. Each mask is assembled from two or three pieces and jointed together w/slots/tabs. Mad Hatter measures7.5x15.5" and March Hare measures 10.5x13.5". Some scattered wear at slots/tabs, but clean overall and Fine. A truly unique pair for the "Alice In Wonderland" collector. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
