Item Description
Three buttons are 1.25" and the other 1.5". Three buttons are book photo plate examples with the one that is not reading "Little Giants" accented by ribbons and charm. The Jersey City Giants was a farm system affiliate of the New York Giants from 1937-1950. This button reflects their nickname "Little Giants." The other three buttons are plate examples with the first in darker blue as item #25 on page #58, the second button is item #27 also from page #58 and the button reading "Press" is item #26 also from page #58. First button shows two tiny pink dots at bottom left but that was surface dirt now removed. This button includes back paper from "Charles Shear Concessionaire." Second button names same business but the back paper design is totally different. The "Press" button has back paper from Philadelphia maker James Spencer & Co. Bottom right edge is missing about 5% of the paper due to insect damage. The second button has slightest trace of age tone on extreme left and right edges of the white center panel. This shows hardly at all and the other three items are Exc. displaying Mint. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
