Item Description
Original 8.75x17.75" plaster over wood frame w/wood backing has reverse-painted glass sign w/large "Barber - Porter" text w/circle at center that reads "Boots And Shoes Blacked Here." Likely for display in train station or the like, c. 1915. Frame shows scattered wear w/some flaking to surface plaster at corners. Some small scattered flakes to reverse-painted glass at bottom center and upper right. Center has some dust soiling, but piece still displays Fine overall.
