Item Description
1.5" abounds in political symbols and slogans. A white elephant representing the Republican Party stands atop a football representing the "People" with additional text "Rah! Rah!! Rah!!! A Safety's The Score Parker & Davis 1904." The elephant's feet are bound with a metal band reading "Protection" and this leads to a ball and chain with caption "The Trusts." The primary rim inscription is "Uncle Sam's 'White' Elephant - It's Game - It's Finish." The platform and blanket on the elephant's back refer to "Rooseveltism - Grand Old Pirate."
