Item Description
The Liberty Head was a design issued by the US Mint in the early 19th Century. Introduced in 1839 the coin featured a design by Christian Gobracht. Offered here is an 1907 example, the last year of this particular coin's mintage. The obverse features Gobracht's Liberty Head (also known as Coronet Head) depiction of Liberty while the reverse features an eagle w/shield clutching arrows and olive branch.
