Item Description
Large and heavy 10" wide by 16" deep wood base. 17" tall Size 313 cash register by The National Cash Register Co. 1920. Register has ornate relief brass body, marble counter and original glass.
Factory number on stamped plaque attached at top front (though this has factory error "347" size instead of correct "313") w/raised lettering manufacturer plaque at bottom front. Front lifts to reveal "Key Lock" and customer/sale counter. Spring-operated drawer opens and reveals "Class 300-700 - Single Counter" label on underside as well as additional National Cash Register "Second-Hand Register Guarantee" label w/register number and stamped inspector name. Both labels are aged but complete. Register door has handle and large "National" name in raised lettering. Wooden interior of drawer shows wear from use. Register works. Expected aging and wear, though no chips to marble or damage to glass. Fine overall.
