Item Description
Sizes 11/16"to 7/8" and all are litho tin.  First is a tab, identical front and back, designed to be held to the edge of a lapel or shirt. Each side has "May Day" flag, Communist party hammer/sickle logo and text "Fight For Unemployment Insurance". Paint wear, but VG and rare. The other buttons all include "May Day" plus slogans about united labor, opposition to fascism, and peace/security. Included are early dated 1925 button, button with "50th Anniversary" notation from 1936 and with 1886 date reference to famous Haymarket massacre in Chicago, two different from 1939, scarce post war from 1946 and one undated c. early 1940s.
