Item Description
Series 1976 $2 bill has been signed at upper left front in black felt tip pen by NASA astronaut and US Senator John Glenn (1921-2016), who flew the Friendship 7 mission, which made John Glenn the first American placed into orbit on Feb. 20, 1962. Bill is technically Fine/VF w/three vertical folds and one horizontal fold through center, but these do not overly detract from signature, which remains Exc. 3x6" wooden plaque has attached 4" long figural key to the city of Pensacola, FL w/engraved "Capt. Eugene Cernan" name plate below. Cernan (1934-2017), was part of Apollo 17 and was the eleventh and as of now, last man to have walked on the surface of the moon. Some lt. scattered wear, but VF/Exc. overall. A very different pair for the space exploration collector. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
