Item Description
Vintage 7x9.25" glossy publicity photo features nice portrait image of English film and stage actor who is perhaps best known to American audiences for his performances in Universal horror films "The Invisible Man" (1933), "The Wolf Man" (1941), "Phantom Of The Opera" (1943) as well as for his role as Captain Renault in "Casablanca" (1942). Photo has been signed in black ink on Rains' collar. Photo has photographer Wilfred Newton's stamp on reverse. Back also shows some faint scattered staining along bottom, but this does not affect front's display, which remains VF. Great image w/bold signature. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
