Item Description
Sizes 5/8" to 1-7/16" all cello except row 3 #2.  First  is c. 1910 and shows "Victor Berger First Socialist Congressman". Second is "Socialists For Congress" from the 1910s and showing Berger and Henry Gaylord Wilshire (see row 2, item 1) with light bkg. stain. Third is real photo with 1898 patent on tin reverse showing "Our Martyred Brother Jack O'Neil".  Fourth from same era is "We Mourn The Loss Of A Murdered Brother" with .5" cello crack. Both of these are rare but we have no additional information. Fifth has quotation "Let The Nation Own The Trusts". This was the motto of the Socialist magazine "Wilshires" published by the man on right of button row 1, #2 Henry Gaylord Wilshire. C. 1907 w/ Bastian paper. Sixth is hand w/ torch, Miller paper. Seventh is logo version by W&H with slight darkening. Eighth is Bastian logo version. Ninth is scarce blue/white logo c. 1920s-30s. Tenth promotes Unemployment Insurance and has a few tiny paint nicks on rim. Eleventh is for Mayor of Bridgeport running for Conn. governor c. 1938. Twelfth is 1952 presidential ticket, and thirteenth is for Young People's Socialist League with 3/8" cello split by collet but cello lays flat. All Exc. to Mint except as noted. Many scarce to rare.
