Item Description
Noble & Cooley produced many different Mickey Mouse toy instruments during the 1930s, including a variety of different sized toy drums. Offered here is the largest 7.5" tall by 12" dia. size, w/tin litho body and linen-like fabric drumheads. Drum features wraparound scene featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow and Pluto who has a large "Mickey Mouse Band" drum strapped to his back. Entire image is repeated three times. Complete w/original string binding and die-cut leather accent pieces. Illustrated body shows some scattered wear w/spots of oxidation to one Donald and one Pluto image w/some age fading. VG/Fine overall. Drumheads have lt. dust soiling/aging but does not have any punctures/splits. Fine. Scarce. See smaller size/color variety #1610.
