Item Description
2.25" w/"Boston 36" union bug in field at 6 o'clock. Two cello splits each less than .25" at 5 and 6 o'clock along collet, these lay flat and likely occurred during manufacturing. Lower third has light yellow toning affecting "Neff" also, scattered light brown spots of toning but remaining over 90% clear. Fine. Rare. We could not nail down a specific candidate to attribute to this artifact and can not recall encountering another example in our 50 years. Ron Koot Collection.
