Item Description
2.25" button w/J. Shaw back paper and 5" ribbon attached under spring pin on reverse. Additional text on ribbon reads "1856-1924" and "Lancaster County Pa." Button features real photo portraits and has a moderate amount of scattered light gray dots of toning. Ribbon has only trivial loss of fringe at lower left. VF. This design was also used in 1920 (see item #248) and 1928 w/this 1924 example considered the hardest to obtain. Leon Rowe Collection.
