Item Description
2x2.75" tall including hanger. A detailed metal jockey's cap is suspended from a diecut horse and jockey hanger w/cardboard shield at back. Shield reads at top "The National Sweepstakes." Lifting the hat reveals an applied real photo portrait of candidate w/text "Harrison Will Win The Race." Cardboard has a .75" crease that breaks the surface paper at top right affecting the "ee" in "Sweepstakes" and a .25" chip of missing surface paper at top left that affects the "N" in "National." Otherwise only minor scattered edge wear. Tin adornments have light wear and age appropriate patina. Overall VG w/applied photo having only minor surface wear and remaining VF. This badge has oodles of charm and is rarely offered. A true standout among Harrison campaign items. Leon Rowe Collection.
