Item Description
1.25" w/no back paper. This is an early Debs button likely dating from his first campaign in 1896. Two light grey spots in the field at 9 and 10 o'clock near extreme edge. Reverse collet has indentation between 7 and 8 o'clock. This is not visible when viewing from the front and does not affect the structure of the button. Technically extremely Fine but displays Exc. Rare and the only full color Debs portrait button we can recall seeing. Ron Koot Collection.
