Item Description
1" with rim hole as made. Front and back have name of each man followed by periods. 1860 date flanked by olive spray and circle around ferro is pearled. Johnson has many craze lines that catch reflected light but only 1/16" emulsion chip off his lower coat. Johnson crazing is less obvious but does have one hairline that can be seen crossing his eye on right side. Only actual emulsion loss is 1/32" dot off far right edge. Both portraits display very clearly. Most rim luster remains but somewhat muted, mostly on reverse. Fine. Leon Rowe Collection.
