Item Description
1.75" dia. w/curl noting maker Offset Gravure Corp. Front text includes "Lou 'I'm A Bad Boy' Costello For Mayor Of World's Fair Midway." Bottom text is "Abbott For Commissioner Of Laffs." No back paper as typical. The comedy duo made appearances at "Street Of Paris" exhibit to distribute their "Campaign Buttons." There are numerous modern crude fakes of this button, this being an original distributed at the NYWF in 1939. Slight age toning to white bkg. but still bright and glossy. Exc.
