Item Description
Pair of first and only printing posters for concerts that took place in San Francisco, CA. BG-229 is for April 23 & 26, 1970 concerts that took place at Fillmore West and April 24-25, 1970 concerts that took place at Winterland in San Francisco, CA. Concerts featured Joe Cocker, Mad Dogs & Englishmen, Van Morrison and Stonemans. Poster design by David Singer features photo collage including Mt. Rushmore, orangutans, hummingbird, cat and nude women. Lower left has some corner creases and poster is Fine overall. BG-235 is May 21-24, 1970 concerts that took place at Fillmore West featuring B.B. King, Albert King and Mendelbaum. Poster design by Wilfred Satty and David Singer features the "Split Fountain Technique" in which poster fades from one color to the other from side to side. Main image features classical statues sitting at rest on large cat. Upper right has some corner tip wear and poster is VF overall.
