Item Description
This was the United Kingdom's leading militant suffrage group from 1903-1917. 1.5" tall with enamel on convex shield bordered by ribbons reading "Love/Hope/Patience/These Must Be Thy Graces". The Women's Social & Political Union adopted these purple, white and green colors in 1908. Reverse has last few letters of a maker's name plus location of Birmingham (abbreviated). Minor luster wear with Mint enamel.
