Item Description
First is a one sided 6x9" thin cardboard with text along bottom margin "Please Hang This Card In Your Front Window." Bold text at top reads "Member Of United States Food Administration." Card has .5" stain hairline on right side but overall is extremely clean. With the card comes the member's badge consisting of a celluloid insert within a 13/16" brass frame with pin on reverse. Still with most luster. Third item is one sided 5.5" tall card with the top half devoted to "Herbert Hoover's Message To The Women Of Pennsylvania." Bottom half of the card is devoted to a message from "Howard Heinz Federal Food Administrator For Pennsylvania." Howard Heinz was the son of company founder H.J. Heinz. Julie Powell Collection.
