Item Description
Button and medal sizes are 5/8" to 1.75". Earliest is 1914 Penrose/Senator with Brumbaugh Governor jugate with ribbon followed by same with age tone and missing ribbon. There are two more Brumbaugh buttons plus a medal with loop and text "Martin G. Brumbaugh/Twenty Years Qualification N.P.G. (Natl. Guard of Pa). Reverse scene of men at target practice. Eight items for Sproul including uniface bronze medal with his portrait, name and "Governor". The 1918 bw ribbon for him has thread separations at top and small reverse repair to split that crosses the date. Ribbon under button has lost gold text but readable. Others for Pinchot (real photo), Bonniwell (two w/ 1st as real photo), Mc Sparran (2), Alter (2), Beidleman (three w/ cracks on second one). All Exc. to Mint unless noted. Leon Rowe Collection.
