Item Description
1.25" dia. patriotic button produced during the World War II era depicting The Eagle, a comic book character who made his first appearance in "Science Comics" in 1940. He also had four issues of his own title in 1941-1942, this button issued at that time to members of the "American Eagle Defenders" club, the name appearing on this button. Trace aging to metal back but front is totally bright and glossy w/full color. Exc.
