Item Description
20-1/8x30" stiff glossy paper poster printed by Tea Lautrec. For Sept. 19, 1978 at the Rainbow Theatre in London, England featuring The Grateful Dead. This show was canceled as noted in text box at lower left. Superb poster design by Alton Kelley features winged mask w/snakes and roses set against pyramid bkg. AOR 4.239. Text below is in English inside the box at left, box at right has same text in Arabic. This image had been used for an earlier Sept. 1978 show in Egypt and was used yet again for the remainder of the 1978 European Tour. 1.5" corner crease at lower right, but this blends somewhat and poster still displays Exc.
