Item Description
14x27.75" thick cardboard poster produced by "Posters Inc." advertising a "Fri. Nov. 17" concert at "Davis Gym Bucknell University- Lewisburg, Pa." w/"1961" inscribed in pencil below "17". Features photos of Johnny Paris playing saxophone and "Richard Maltby." Professional restoration including: stabilization of creases and weak areas on reverse; paper fills to all corners; airbrush work on hand/three triangles at left of "Class Of 1963" and on the "B" in "Maltby." Additionally we note horizontal crease about 3" from bottom that breaks the surface paper, a light brown stain affecting the right two thirds of the poster and moderate handling wear. Technically Good but displaying VG. This one was clearly used in the field but remains an early artifact of the beginning of Rock 'n Roll.
