Item Description
3.5x15x1.25" box w/illustrated lid contains complete 10-piece set by noted English soldier/figure maker Cherilea Products. 1950s. Box doesn't feature any Davy Crockett images and partial paper labels on ends of lid note "Western Series" though included insert has printed "'Davy Crockett Indian Fighter'" text. Box shows moderate scattered wear, including some surface paper damage to lid's main panel. Box is Fine overall. Set consists of painted cast metal figures, including total of three Davy Crockett figures (two standing w/rifle, one aiming pistol), Indian on horse. three kneeling Indians w/hatchets, and three different standing Indian figures. Scattered lt. wear, but all remain attached to insert as issued. VF to Exc. overall. Scarce set. First we've seen in our 50 years.
