Item Description
Original illustrated mailing envelope contains 14.25x21" thin cardboard tri-fold store display featuring a variety of smoker novelties and supplies. 1940s. Envelope shows moderate wear w/corners/margin pieces missing and is just Good. Display contains popping "Cigarette Loads, Bitter Cig" powder packets, smelly "Stinx" cigarette insert packets, "Trick Matches" and "Sparkle Matches," each pack featuring Victory or Anti-Axis themes including "Tokens For Tokyo" w/falling bombs, "Remember Pearl Harbor" w/bloodied Japanese samurai blade sticking in soil, "Taps For Japs" as well as "V For Victory, Keep 'Em Flying" and "The Tanks Are Coming" designs. Contents show some age, but are Exc. overall. Displays is evenly aged and shows some wear along tri-folds. Fine/VF. Scarce display.
