Item Description
8.25" tall (11.25" tall to top of bulb socket) figural ceramic lamp w/figure of Davy Crockett holding rifle next to tree while small bear sits on other side. Incised "Davy Crockett" name appears carved into tree trunk. Premco Mfg. Co. Back of base reads "Copyright Premco Mfg. Co. Chicago - Apr. 1955." Lamp has been totally rewired (including new socket) and works. Base remains glossy and is Exc. Comes w/original 6.5" tall slightly tapered heavy paper shade featuring matching illustrations. Shade has "Davy Crockett" name and various frontier scenes including Davy w/bear. Shade has original Elco paper insert and remains in original cellophane, which shows age and moderate wear w/several splits. Shade has some rippling and scattered aging. Fine overall.
