Item Description
2" dia. metal case pocket watch. Ingersoll, 1934. Dial features great full figure images of the Three Pigs plus large Big Bad Wolf head w/separate animated eye that moves as seconds tick. Not running. Back of case is designed like a brick wall w/large door at center w/incised text "May The Big Bad Wolf Never Come To Your Door - Walt Disney." This pocket watch is typically found w/the red accent paint on case back missing, however, this example has majority. Case has some aging by letters, but retains much bright silver luster. Dial is bright and clean w/very strong color, especially to the red bkg. which was prone to fading. 10 to 12 o'clock area has some staining along edge of dial. Fine example of this classic character timepiece.
