Item Description
Original plain cardboard shipping box contains 1947 General Mills premium ring w/adjustable brass bands showing raised smoking lamp image w/"GH" initials on each side. Top of ring features circular disc of glow-in-dark plastic and compartment still strongly glows blue. A tiny rivet holds moveable brass cover over the compartment. Cover has recessed "The Green Hornet" name surrounding highly embossed and extremely detailed hornet image. Two small spots of wear to ring bands, o/w Exc./NM w/majority of bright luster remaining. Scarce in this high grade. Comes w/folded instruction sheet which has ring illustration and "'Good Turn' Coupon" for friend to obtain ring. Unused. Folded as issued w/some wear along fold lines. Fine/VF. Box is unmarked aside from handwritten "Green Hornet" added by owner and has some staining from mailing label (which has been removed) adhesive. VF. Box is rare.
