Item Description
5.25" dia. by 13/16" deep saucer. Made in England, early 1930s. Saucer features wonderful scene of Mickey Mouse playing piano in jungle as tiger cub sits on top of piano. Both are shocked by the appearance of a large ape, who attempts to play piano. Text at top reads "Mickey's Uninvited Guest" and small "Walter E. Disney" name appears under piano bench. Image is from the 1931 animated short "The Castaway" and storyline was also featured in the "Mickey Mouse Movie Stories" book. Only partial Paragon mark on back. Image shows moderate wear but is still Fine overall. Scarce, this only the third example we've seen in our 50 years. All Paragon china is highly sought after.
