Pair from Royal Paragon China's 1930s Mickey Mouse Series. 5.5x5.5" octagonal plate features charming image of Mickey and Minnie Mouse seated beside one another w/"I Like What You Like, And You Like What I Like." text caption w/cow in bkg. Small "Walter E. Disney" name at bottom. Traditional Paragon accents appear on rim and underside has "Royal Paragon China - Mickey Mouse Series" company mark. Image area shows lt. wear but still VF overall. 5.25" dia. by 7/8" deep saucer features exceptional scene captioned "Here's Something To Tickle You" and depicts Mickey Mouse holding a pointed dagger and jabbing a heavy-set pig in farm overalls and hat, making him leap into the air. Small "Walter E. Disney" name at bottom. Traditional Paragon accents appear on rim and underside has "Royal Paragon China - Mickey Mouse Series" company mark. Image/text shows lt. wear but all remains distinct and saucer is o/w bright, clean and glossy. VF. All Paragon china is highly sought after.
