Item Description
10.75x16-4/8" artboard features artist Dick Dillin's pen and ink original art for page 4 of the March 1969 issue of "Justice League Of America" #70, published by DC Comics. Dillin is noted for his 12-year run as artist of "Justice League Of America," drawing 115 issues from 1968 until 1980. Four panel page features Green Lantern, The Atom, Flash, Superman and Batman discussing crime, Batman mentioning his first encounter w/"An Outlaw Who Calls Himself The Creeper!" The Creeper making his first appearance a year earlier in "Showcase" #73. Batman appears in every panel w/other JLA members appearing in all but one panel. The Atom is seen in miniature form, seated in tiny rocket-powered chair. Page was inked by Sid Greene. Top margin has production notations w/handwritten title and issue/page number. Top/bottom margins each have pair of hole punches (which do not affect text/art). VF overall w/Exc. art.
