Item Description
Lot of six cards from set of 48 cards, each 4x9.25" by Mark I. ©1978 DC Comics, Inc. All card backs bear the title "Superman And Friends" and are individually numbered; this lot includes 7-8, 22-23, 33, 35 and feature Superman, Batman and Robin (w/one interior featuring villains Joker, Penguin and Riddler) as well as Wonder Woman. Embossed fronts feature great full color art, w/a few having art inside. Cards feature great specialty art. All are unused and VF to Exc., come w/plain white envelopes. Cards come w/12x30.5" store sign w/large "Superman And Friends" text featuring smaller inset images of characters featured on these cards, which includes those listed above w/addition of Captain Marvel (Shazam). Folded as issued w/three vertical creases. Sign has some scattered handling wear. Aged tape staining on back as displayed. Fine overall. Franco Toscanini Collection.
