Item Description
Nice quality vinyl belt measuring 1" wide by 29" long w/attached brass belt buckle. Pioneer, 1940s. Pioneer also produced leather belts, but this vinyl version is much rarer. Size 26 as noted by faint text on reverse of belt by buckle. Full color images of Superman including four different action poses and portrait image. These images are repeated twice w/single punching image between them. Pioneer also produced another belt of this style w/Superman buckle and the series of images being repeated three times instead of two. Also, other version lacks brass accent studs this version has. Originally clear, belt has yellowed w/age but remains pliable. Trace of aging to metal parts but images show very little wear and are nearly all complete. Fine/VF overall. Rare.
