Item Description
4.5x10" die-cut card contains fork and spoon by Imperial Knife Company, Inc. ©1966 NPP, Inc. Card has Superman image. Both utensils have his full figure image in relief on handles. Card is unpunched and has slight ripple w/trace oxidation on staples. Card is Fine/VF. Spoon has small spot of discoloration at tip, o/w set has full bright luster and is NM. Comes w/lot of three glazed ceramic pieces made in England (as noted by faint incised text on mug), 1960s. Each piece features "Superman" comic book title/logo and different action scene. 4.75" dia. saucer and 2.25" tall Demitasse cup both have black accent paint on rim, cup's rim paint shows scattered wear and trace wear to Superman image. Last piece in set is 3-1/8" tall handle mug. Scattered lt. wear, VF-Exc. overall. Franco Toscanini Collection.
