Item Description
1-3/8x1-5/8" brass frame housing a sixteenth plate tintype of the 16th President. Reverse of tintype has partial label remnant. This image was part of the 1861 Abbott series. Frame has a break at the bottom right corner junction. Tin type has only minor surface wear in reflected light. Extremely Fine. A scarce image that is ready to be placed in a hinged case of the buyer's choosing.
