Item Description
7x9x2.25" deep illustrated thin cardboard box w/die-cut lid has front/back panels designed like filmstrips w/images of the Lone Ranger and Tonto. Acme Plastic Toys, Inc. Set No. 70. ©1947 TLR, Inc. Box shows moderate even aging and wear w/lid detached and incomplete. Box is VG. Illustrated die-cut cardboard insert holds 3.5" wide hard plastic film viewer and two illustrated boxes of films. Both are marked "Box #2" though one has had number "1" penciled over the "2" on box bottom. Top flap of this box is missing and box is VG. Other box is Exc. as are films and viewer. Rare set. 7x8-7/8" die-cut card holds 3" wide plastic viewer. Card also holds single film box. Acme Toy Corp, ©1955 TLR, Inc. Viewer uses "35mm Theatre Size Film." Card has moderate moisture staining to majority of card and handling wear including .25" tear at hanger hole. VG. Film box shows moderate wear w/moisture staining and is VG, though film and viewer are Exc. Scarce on card.
