Item Description
Lot features total of 14 cast metal badges in four different styles. Each is approx. 2" dia. six-pointed sheriff's star w/raised "Lone Ranger Deputy" text as well as a small silver bullet and domino mask design. All 1950s. Lot includes single-issued badge on 3-3/8x4.5" illustrated card by 20th Century Novelty Casting Co. Card is aged and shows some handling wear. Fine. Badge is variety in all white metal w/different colored plastic rhinestones at each badge tip. Badge is aged and VF. Another single-issued badge comes on 7.5x11-1/8" card in replaced bag w/original header card. Also by 20th Century, this badge features black bkg. and no rhinestones and comes w/starched linen mask and metal handcuffs. Header card staples have some oxidation and illustrated card is evenly aged. VF w/contents Exc. as packaged. 10-3/8x11.25" photo-illustrated card contains complete amount of 12 badges in two styles - six in gold finish and black painted accents, six in chrome finish w/black painted accents. Card shows moderate wear w/creases and .75" tear at hanger hole at top center. VG. Some badges show lt. wear to painted accents, but are VF to Exc. overall.
