Item Description
7.25" long painted tin convertible w/detailed tin litho dash, rubber tires on red plastic hubs, plated bumpers, grille/headlights. Schuco, made in Western Germany, 1950s. Underside notes both "Schuco" and "Examico II 4004" name. Toy has unusual feature; an embossed and plated medallion on front of hood w/car image and "Schuco" name. Plastic steering wheel controls rack and pinion steering of front wheels. Has Schuco key. Wind-up functions work - car has neutral, reverse and four forward speeds using gear shifter. Clear plastic windshield is evenly aged but o/w car shows little to no wear and is Exc. Choice condition example.
