Item Description
8" dia. by 1.75" deep heavy Bavarian china dish w/three compartments, each featuring different scene that tells a story. Inner illustrations include "Piglet's Dream" which has image of Heffalump; Winnie the Pooh sleeping in bed in "Pooh's Dream," showing Heffalump stealing jar of honey; Christopher Robin, Pooh and Piglet enjoy picnic as "They Plan To Trap A Heffalump." Exterior has an additional six images of Pooh w/honey jar, w/two of each of the three different images. Underside has "Bavaria - Schumann" company mark w/"A.M. Milne - Winnie-The-Pooh" name and name of US distributor and Stephen Slesinger Inc. name. 1930s. Dish shows little wear and is VF/Exc. Scarce.
