Item Description
Lot of two approx. 2-3/8x4" carte de visites (CDVs) and four cabinet photos measuring between 3.5x5-3/8" and 4.25x6.5". Mid to late 1800s. One CDV shows Nellie Keeler of P.T. Barnum's show and smaller cabinet card shows Baron Capitan Nicu de Barrsy. Other are o/w unmarked w/exception of photographers, which include - Ranger's Photograph Parlors (Syracuse, NY), Wendt (Boonton, NJ), Chas. Eisenman (Bowery, NY), Rich's (Chicago, IL). Two cabinet cards show couples (one w/dog). Of note, one cabinet card shows average height man standing w/two little people, one seated on his shoulder. Varying degrees of handling wear/aging w/some scattered creasing and corner tip wear. 1/8" pull at top center of de Barrsy card. VG to VF overall.
