Item Description
Pair of 4.25x6.5" cabinet cards, each featuring pair of giants. One card features brothers Jack (7'8") and Frank Shields (7'11-3/4") of Texas, who both stood nearly eight feet tall. Bottom of card has their names, ages, heights as well as "The Texas Giant Brothers" title. The Shields Brothers appeared in P.T. Barnum's show w/two additional brothers, who were also giants. Chas. Eisenmann photographer imprint on back. Other card features Canadian giantess Anna Swan (7'11") w/her husband the "Kentucky Giant" Captain Martin Van Buren Bates (7'7.5") and average sized man. Varying degrees of handling wear/aging w/some scattered creasing and corner tip wear. Fine overall.
