Item Description
2.75x4.25" slip of paper has been signed in pencil "Best Wishes - Hank Williams." Autograph comes w/vintage 2.75x4.5" photo showing Williams (1923-1953) standing in a wooded area, partially in the sunlight. This autograph and photo were obtained/taken on the same day Williams appeared at Mt. Gretna in Pennsylvania on July 3, 1949. Photo has inked "Hank Williams - Mt. Gretna July '49" notation at top/bottom margins w/repeated inked details on reverse. Photo has slight curl and small spot of surface paper lift on back from scrapbook mounting, but is VF overall. Autograph has faint vertical crease at left and another vertical crease at center. These do not detract greatly from overall appearance, which remains Exc. A wonderful pair to frame together. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
