Item Description
Lot of four 1940s bandanas, each 26x26" w/bright colors and fringed edges as made. Harlequin, © UFS. Bandanas feature a variety of graphics, including several Shmoo and various "Li'l Abner" characters including Western scene w/Li'l Abner w/Mammy and Pappy Yokum in covered wagon driven by cowboy Shmoo; large images of Chief Sitting Shmoo and Princess Minihahaskirt. This bandana also has original illustrated tag still attached at corner. Exc. Other bandanas include "Li'l Red Shmoolhouse" school scene (two color varieties) and multi-character scene w/Shmoo Blimp at center. This bandana has moderate scattered staining and is VG. Purple school bandana has a few tiny stains and is o/w VF while rest are Exc. Folds could be easily ironed out. Barry Lutsky Collection.
